• As humans, we have challenges that, at times, can feel overwhelming and stressful. These emotions can be hard to manage on our own.
• I consider myself a flexible therapist- being able to work with a diverse client-body. A client who is motivated to put in the effort will benefit greatly from our work together.
• I respect the history, personality, culture, and wisdom that you bring into the room. I will customize treatment for what works best for you, making sure to check in to make sure we are maximizing your time and that you feel that your needs are being met.
• I use an empathic and person-centered approach combined with Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Psychodynamic approaches to work on your goals.
• Often, to get to the root of a concern, especially with trauma concerns- it takes time to lean into their pain and process the expectations, thoughts, and behaviors. However, if a client requests a more quick, direct, and solution-oriented therapy journey- we can work together towards this pursuit.
• I am an interactive therapist (in-person and remote) who maintains the sacred, secure, and safe space for you to process your thoughts and feelings.
• I work with individuals who are overwhelmed due to anxiety, battle OCD, have experienced panic attacks, and who want to work on social anxiety or deal with adjustments in life.
• I work with clients who have ADHD or want to learn how to interact with an individual who has ADHD.
• I have experience with clients with small to big traumatic experiences that impact them negatively.
• I have experience with clients who have mild to major depression.
• I enjoy working with parents to help them understand their parenting style, what their strengths and challenges are in this arena and how best to deal with their children, of all ages. We address children's big emotions, gain clarity of the child's underlying difficulties/ diagnoses, and work towards developing meaningful and healthy attachments.
• I enjoy working with individuals who want to gain insight into themselves and achieve personal growth and self-confidence.
