Q. What browser is recommended to view webinars?

A. We recommend using  Firefox  or  Chrome. Safari for Windows and Internet Explorer are not supported.

Q. The video does not start. How do I start the Stream?

A. Click the play button (the triangle) that is in the middle of the video player

Q. I completed the webinar but cannot find my certificate

A. Click on the link at the bottom of the video player where it says “Get your certificate”. The certificates can also be found in the workshops and certificates pages on your account

Q. Will my regulatory bodies accept the certificate provided for continued education credits

A. The certificates provided are accepted by most regulatory bodies.  Please see the list of provided certificates on the bottom of each webinar page.  Make sure that you are aware of your states and disciplines regulations to ensure that you chose the correct certificate.  If you need assistance with this, Please feel free to email.

Q. I can not be present at the time of the live presentation.  Will I be able to access it at a later time?

A. If you are not able to view the webinar when it streams live, you may use the link to watch it at your convenience. All webinar recordings become available on the website about 24 hours after they stream live.

Q. How much time do I have to view the webinar?

A. You are allotted enough time to watch the webinar one time plus enough time to review most of the webinar a second time.  If for some reason you run out of time, do not worry, just reach out to us on the contact page.

Q. I purchased the webinar but am now being asked to pay again. How can I access the webinar?

A. You will need to login in order to access the webinar, you can do so by clicking on the “login to access it now” button. You can also access your webinars from your  account  page by selecting the  Workshops  tab.

Navigating The Challenging Road of Ethical Dilemmas in Mental Health (3 CE Credits – Ethics)

Ethical dilemmas can sometimes leave you at a crossroads! As clinicians, we encounter roadblocks which can cloud our decision making and lead to the wrong course of action. When ethical violations are made, it is most disheartening to know the harm caused to the clients we serve.

To aid clinicians in navigating this challenging road of ethical dilemmas in-person and virtually, this interactive course will take you on a personal journey to do the right thing. Clinicians will learn to apply foundational ethical principles and use best practices such as the Code of Ethics and decision-making models when faced with ethical dilemmas.

3 Hours

(Trainer: Alesha Perkins is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia and North Carolina and a Certified Case Manager. Alesha has over 19 years of experience in the social work field with focuses on medical social work, child protective services, case management, mental health and substance abuse counseling. Ten years ago she began her instructional career providing ethics trainings to dialysis providers, and since then has created and facilitated numerous trainings for mental health and medical professionals. Alesha is a former Clinical Director for a mental health agency and currently works for a health insurance provider as a Program Manager. In addition, she provides clinical supervision and is an instructor for Perkins Medical Services which is family-owned and has been in business for 21 years.)

Helping Couples through Infidelity (3 CE Credits)

Couples who come for counseling in the wake of an affair are often in intense distress. Despite the apparently insurmountable challenge this poses to the relationship, recovery is not impossible. In fact, repairing the damage of infidelity is a well-worn path that many couples have been down. In this webinar you'll get a roadmap to helping them through.

3 Hours

(Trainer Raffi Bilek, LCSW-C, is a couples counselor and director of the Baltimore Therapy Center and director of the Montgomery County Abuse Intervention Program for domestic violence offenders. He doesn't cheat on his spouse, but works with a lot of people who do.)
